Central Wildcats Sweep All-District

QB Brett Courville Named Offensive District 4-5A MVP

CENTRAL — Coaches in District 4-5A have named six Central Wildcats to the All-District offensive team and three Wildcats to the All-District defensive team.

Central quarterback Brett Courville was named the Most Valuable Offensive Player in the district.

For the second straight year, Gary Triplett was named the district’s outstanding Athlete.

Players from Central, Denham Springs, Live Oak, Scotlandville, Walker, and Zachary were eligible for the honors.  Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own players.

Players who make the All-District first team are eligible for selection to the All-State team.

Gary Triplett was an All-State selection last year as a sophomore.
