Jimmy Coarsey, 89, Leaves Loving Family

Jimmy Coarsey quietly passed from our lives into the hands of Christ on December 17, 2025. He was 89 years old. Born on February 17, 1936 to Nathan L Coarsey Jr. and Elizabeth Leake Coarsey. He worked over 50 years in the construction business. He was a part of Saving Grace Community Church in Clinton. He was always such a big part of his community in Central, being a founder of Central Private School to being involved in every organization his family was part of. He will be truly missed because he was always there for each and every one of us down to his great grandchildren. Many thanks to all his caregivers and his Grace family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Peggy Coarsey, father N L Coarsey, mother Elizabeth Leake Coarsey and brother Nathan Coarsey (Fuzzy). Jimmy is survived by his sisters Betty Montgomery (Ken), Nancy Guillot (Jerry), and Carolyn Coarsey, brother Joe Coarsey (Tug), daughters Terry Browning (Butch), Gerry Sylvester (Michael), son James Lee Coarsey, and Jr. “Jimbo” (Lisa), grandchildren Chad Browning (Melissa), Jared Browning (Tracye), Beaux Coarsey, (Meredith), Caleb Coar-sey (Celeste), Zach Ballard, Jessica Landry (Chris), and great grandchildren Lilly, Zeth, Maddox, Kendall Rhea, Presley, Bradlee, Trace, Addie, Hoyt, Hollis, Kate, and Hunt.
