Chauvin’s 4 Hits Lead Central Softball

Four hits from Kylie Chauvin helped lead the Central Wildcats past Riverside Academy 13-3 on Thursday. Chauvin singled in the second, singled in the fourth, singled in the fifth, and singled in the sixth.  Central got things started in the first inning. An error scored two runs for Central. The Wildcats scored four runs in the sixth inning. Madelyn Edwards, Nicki Bourgeois, and Autumn Vessier all drove in runs in the frame. 

Mary Fralick earned the victory in the pitcher’s circle for Central. She went six innings, allowing three runs on five hits and striking out three.  

Central Wildcats collected 13 hits. Chauvin, Bourgeois, Vessier, Destiney Gary, and Bella Barnes each had multiple hits for Central Wombats 18U. Chauvin went 4-for-5 at the plate to lead Central in hits.
