Lady Wildcats Summer Basketball

The Central High School Lady Wildcats basketball team is in the midst of a busy summer in preparation for next season. They began one of four competitive college camps, playing at McNeese State on Saturday, June 4 and won two of four games. The girls will also participate in competitive team camps at UNO, ULL, and LSU.

Coach Terrior Morris-Jones is entering her third season as the girls’ basketball coach. The Lady Wildcats are led by five returning seniors—Hannah Cowart, Sarah Douglas, Myia Forbes, Ebony Johnson, and Jojo O’Conner. The basketball team plays in the Broadmoor High Summer League, where they have a 3-1 record with victories over Baker, St. Joseph’s Academy, and Southern Lab.  Here is the summer schedule:
