Central Flyer Not Yet in Top Form

ST. AMANT — Trevor Sansone, Central High School’s defending state 5A champion in the 100-meter dash, is not yet back in top form after suffering a hip injury.  On Thursday, he ran 3rd in the 100-meter dash in the St. Amant Lake Relays at St. Amant High School in Ascension Parish.

Sansone finished with a time of 10.78 seconds, just behind Landon Collins of Dutchtown, who had a time of 10.68, and Devante Paul of Hahnville, who ran in 10.76.

Sansone’s best time this year is 10.40.
