Dr. Laura Cassidy To Speak Before Republican Women

CENTRAL — “For the Love of God, Country and Republican Women” is the theme of the Republican Women of Central’s Feb. 15 Luncheon at Sammy’s Grill.  RWC’s guest speaker will be Dr. Laura Cassidy, retired Breast Disease and Cancer physician, former Chief of Surgery for Earl K. Long Hospital, and wife of U.S. Rep. Bill Cassidy.

Also speaking will be Roxanne Alonzo Atkinson, Central school board member and local fitness mentor, who will provide an update on the progress of the new school construction projects.

Cost for the meeting will be $15 for renewing members of RWC and $20 for guests and non-members.
