Festival of Two Rivers Auction Saturday

St. Alphonsus Church 4th Annual Festival’s Taste of Central Event

CENTRAL — St. Alphonsus Festival of Two Rivers has invited the Central community to its 4th Annual Auction and A Taste of Central on Saturday, Feb. 11, 6 p.m. in the Family Center, 14040 Greenwell Springs Road.

The auction helps fund the Festival of Two Rivers in May.

This year’s auction promises to be an evening filled with food, fun, and fellowship.  There will be food vendors from around the area preparing their favorite entrees and desserts to sample and a cash bar.

The event will include a silent and live auction with a number of items to bid on, ranging from vacations, jewelry, a church parking spot, first car in SAS car pool line, and much more.

There’s also the $10,000 Raffle.  Tickets are $100 and give the purchaser a chance to win $10,000.  It admits two adults for a great night of entertainment.

Ticket prices are $20 in advance; $25 at the door, and the $100 raffle ticket, which admits two adults.

Something new has been added — a babysitting service — for ages 3 to 12.  If interested in the service, call the school at 261-5299 or the church office at 261-4650 to register a child.  The charge is $5 per child.  The children will enjoy pizza and movies.  For information or to purchase tickets, contact the church office at 261-4650.
