Jeffery Lacour Is a Candidate in Central School Board District 1

Jeffery Lacour is a candidate for the Central Community School Board from District 1.  In connection with his candidacy, he issued this statement: 

I’m running because I feel that our community and teaching staff need a voice. They need someone that will listen to their needs and concerns and that’s something I plan on being. 

I want to make it where there isn’t just seven members of the School Board in charge of making decisions and saying “That’s that!” I want it to be a community-involved decision. 

I encourage the residents of District No. 1 to vote for me because I am genuine and not in this for the money. 

Not only do I bring a sincere heart to the table, I also bring the experience of having all four of my children attend Central schools. Additionally, I will put forth an effort to relate to the community, staff, and students of the Central Community School System. 

Most importantly, I will bring the experience of knowing how to run and manage a successful business. 

I’m proficient when it comes to creating, revising and implementing policies and procedures that work for everyone, not only the policymakers. I also know how to evaluate policies and adjust them as needed, to secure perfection for what’s being done.
