Military Record, Solid Family Life Plus Hard Work Make John Vance A Council Favorite

In a few short months, Council candidate John Vance has gone from being virtually unknown to a serious contender for one of five seats on the Central City Council in this Saturday’s municipal election.
With an outstanding military career as an Army helicopter pilot and plant manager for a major production facility, Vance moved to Central 10 years ago with his wife Lesley, a Central Private graduate and native of Central. Vance was encouraged to run for the Council by Councilman Tony LoBue, who said he recognized in Vance many of the qualities necessary for successful public service.
Perhaps the secret to Vance’s success in this election is hard work.  He is one of the few candidates who spent months going door to door.
