City Hall to Open in April

The people of the City of Central have been waiting for 20 years to have their own City Hall. Central has had several city halls, all either donated or leased.  None has been owned by the city, provided adequate facilities, or represented the City of Central as the beautiful, prosperous, and progressive city that it is.

However, that will change with the opening in April of the new Central City Hall at the corner of Hooper and Sullivan roads.

The new facility will provide a Council Chamber and meeting facilities as well as space for the Mayor and Central City Services. It is designed to serve the community for years to come.

Central Mayor Wade Evans is inviting the public to celebrate at opening ceremonies from 3 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28. Everyone will be able to tour the facility and meet the city’s leadership.
