Harlan Jerro, Central High Class of 2019, Now US Air Force Academy Class of 2023

In a recent Facebook post, Harlan Jerro, a 2019 graduate of Central High School, shared his thoughts as his approaching graduation from the United States Air Force Academy.

He said, “Gratitude. This is the first word that comes to mind, when thinking of my Academy experience. There were countless times where I was tested physically, mentally, and emotionally. For now, I can only hope that this has molded me into a stronger son, brother, and person. 

Humbling me on most days, this place has consistently pushed me beyond what I believed to be my limits, giving me priceless life lessons that extended far beyond a classroom. The never-ending demand turned into invaluable lessons about life and myself. Most importantly, this four-year journey has allowed me to find some amazing people who have become lifelong friends.”

Jerro will graduate with a B.S. in Systems Engineering on June 1 after an entire week of activities and events.
