Sammy’s Faces Fine for Failing To Mow Grass

 Through the City of Central’s administrative hearing process, Sammy’s Properties, LLC was issued an order to cut the grass and maintain the property at 14800 Wax Rd. After failing to do so, the City of Central was authorized to enter the property and abate the code violations. Sammy’s Properties, LLC was issued a fine of $1,000 plus $250 for the hearing cost. Failure to pay will result in the filing of a lien on the property.

The city’s contractor entered the property to cut the grass back in October.

The property has been seized by the Sheriff and was put up for a tax sale.
