If Muslims in USA Have Right to Wear Mask, Can’t Others With Truly-Held Belief Do Opposite?

Muslims in the United States have the constitutional right under the First Amendment of the U. S. Constitution to wear a face covering. Sikhs have the constitutional right under the First Amendment to wear a turban.

If they have those rights, can’t Christians have a truly-held belief that they ought not have to wear a mask?  Many Christians do hold that belief and can quote many scriptures to back up their claims.

However, Central schools Supt. Jason Fountain is refusing to accept and review claims for an exemption from the mask mandate on religious grounds.

The Louisiana Constitution takes a very different position.  Art. 1, Section 3 says, “No law shall discriminate against a person because of race or religious ideas, beliefs, or affiliations.” This right is absolute. In Louisiana, there can be no discrimination at all of any kind based on race or religion.
