Central’s Man of the Year Winners Have Left Their Mark on Central Community

Since the Central City News began publication in April 2005 and the City of Central was incorporated in July 2005, the newspaper has considered naming one or more individuals as Man of the Year or Woman of the Year.

No award has been given since 2017.  The award is chosen by the staff of the Central City News.

Most of the early winners were involved in starting the City of Central. Others were key to starting the Central Community School System.  Former Supt. Mike Faulk is the only two-time winner.
