GOVERNOR’S ORDER DOES NOT REQUIRE MASKS IF YOU STAY 6 FEET AWAY FROM OTHERS

GOVERNOR’S ORDER DOES NOT REQUIRE MASKS IF YOU STAY 6 FEET AWAY FROM OTHERS — You do realize, don’t you, that the Governor’s mask order does not require a mask if you stay at least six feet away from other people? This exception applies to every business in the state. If you can stay at least six feet away, you don’t have to mask even under his illegal order. Attached below is the actual language from his executive order. Section 4 on Face Covering, Exception 1.

The Governor’s office is intentionally misleading the public on this point. This is the governors office’s description of his executive order. Notice that there is nothing in it about an exception for people who social distance: https://gov.louisiana.gov/index.cfm/newsroom/detail/2591

This is similar to the deception the governor engaged in with his original order. In that order, he decreed that there would be essential businesses and non-essential businesses. He said non-essential must shut down. What he didn’t say was most businesses were in neither category and had no restrictions. Three months later he admitted that they didn’t have to shut down at all! He said it all in his executive order, and indeed it was was. Unfortunately, most people get their information from liberal news organizations here in Baton Rouge such as the Advocate that often do not tell you the truth.

Well, the fact that masks are not required where you social distance, is in THIS executive order.
