Peevys Celebrate 60 Years

Dennis and Linda Carmena Peevy, former residents and business owners of Central, celebrated their 60th anniversary on August 8, 2019. They were married at Blackwater Methodist Church. They have lived in Lexington, KY, for the last 25 years and are enjoying retirement. 

Dennis graduated from Central  High in 1955 and Linda graduated in 1956. For many years, they operated Four Corners and Linda’s Hallmark in Central City Shopping Center.

The Peevy’s have two daughters. Yvette Peevy lives in New Orleans and Merritt Peevy Crawford and Scott live in Stamping Ground, KY, with their daughters Jessica, a senior at UK, and Katie, who is about to start college.
