Old Kean’s Is History But Little Caesar Is on Its Way

The old Kean’s Laundry building at Hooper and Joor was torn down this week to make room for a new Central business — Little Caesar’s Pizza.

The old Kean’s Laundry in front of Zoar Baptist Church on the corner of Hooper and Joor roads was torn down this week to make way for Central’s first Little Caesar’s pizza store.  All that was left Tuesday was the Kean’s sign itself.

The Little Caesar’s owner had reportedly wanted to use the existing building but needed repairs were so extensive that it made more sense to tear it down and start over.  The store is expected to have a drive-thru window.
