Clerk of Court to Hold Qualifying At Central City Hall Wednesday

As in past Central municipal elections, Clerk of Court Doug Welborn will be at Central City Hall to receive candidates’ qualifying papers for Mayor, Police Chief, and City Council on the first day of qualifying.

Candidates can bring their documents and fees to City Hall, 13421 Hooper Road, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon on Wednesday, Feb. 12.

Qualifying papers will

also be received at the Clerk of Court’s offices in Room 179 of the Governmental Building and at 10500 Coursey Blvd. from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12 to Friday, Feb. 14.

Welborn formerly represented Central on the Metro Council.
