Kusch, Stauss Were Wed At St. Alphonsus Church

Rachelle Kusch and David Stauss, both of Central, were married in a 1 p.m. ceremony April 20 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Greenwell Springs. Deacon Robert Kusch, father of the bride, and the Rev. Michael Moroney officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Deacon and Mrs. Robert Kusch of Central. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Kusch of Central and Mr. and Mrs. Curley Ballard of Baton Rouge.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Stauss, Sr. of Cincinnati. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Randolph Stauss of Cincinnati and the late Mr. and Mrs. Howard Roth of Cincinnati.

The bride was attended by her maid of honor, sister Rebecca Kusch. Bridesmaids were Alisha Stauss, Katie Aspinwall, Jenna Stauss, Megan Blanchard, Angie Giovingo, Angela Juncker, Isabel De Dornallas Cysneiros, Jennifer Glissman, and Angelle Kusch, Flower girl was Adalee Pickett.

The bridegroom’s father was his best man.  Groomsmen were Robert Kusch II, Nick Aspinwall, Brian Doering, Scott Bond, Nathan Schmucker, Joe Stauss, Tom Tsiominas, Jerold Murray, and Joe Wietmarschen. Ring Bearer was Smith Pickett.

A reception took place at Stage One in Baton Rouge.

Following a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple will reside in Central.
