100th Anniversary of 1st Graduating Class

270 Central High Seniors of 2013 Receive Diplomas Friday at Bethany
CENTRAL — Nearly 270 seniors will receive diplomas at Central High School’s graduation ceremonies Friday night at Bethany World Prayer Center in Baker.
It is the 100th anniversary of Central High’s first graduating class in 1913.
Principal Bob Wales has asked everyone attending the event to be in their seats by 6 p.m.  He emphasized that traffic on Plank Road in Baker is difficult at that time of day, and everyone needs to get an early start.  The event will honor valedictorians Morgan Durr and Crystal Rankin and salutatorian Sydnie Landry.  Most of this edition is devoted to graduation.
