Jonathan Metz, Alexis Blackwell to Marry June 8 at Desert Plantation

WOODVILLE, MISS. — Jonathan D. Metz of Central and Alexis M. Blackwell of Baker are proud to announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

The wedding will be Saturday, June 8, 2013, at 6:30 p.m. at Desert Plantation, just past St. Francisville in Woodville, Miss., with dinner and dancing to follow.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Lynn and Tammy Blackwell of Baker.  Alexis is a graduate of Bethany Christian School and will graduate May 16 from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry with a bachelor of science degree as a registered dental hygienist.

Her fiancé is the son of Richard and Jackay Metz of Central.  Jonathan is a graduate of Bethany Christian School and Louisiana State University with a bachelor of science degree in construction management.  He is employed by ISC Constructors of Baton Rouge as a project coordinator.
