Two Republican Candidates Differ On Some Issues

CENTRAL — House candidates Scott Wilson and Barry Ivey have answered a series of questions propounded by the Republican Party of East Baton Rouge Parish.  Their answers are found in a special Central City News report on Page 3.

While the candidates agree on most issues, there are a number of differences:

• Their goals for the next four years (Question 3a)

• Their infrastructure goals for House District 65, including Central (Question 3b)

• Abortion (Question 5), and

• Their goals on what to phase out of state government (Question 8)

The GOP said it hopes the candidates’ answers provide insight to voters as they make their decision.
