Mike Walker Seeks Endorsement From Republican Party Tonight

BATON ROUGE — Mayor Pro-Tem Mike Walker, who is running for Mayor-President in the Nov. 6 election, will seek the official endorsement of the Republican Party of East Baton Rouge Parish tonight.

The 17-member Republican Parish Executive Committee, or PEC, will meet at 6 p.m. at the Metro Council Chamber to hear Walker, ask him questions, and vote.

Walker is scheduled to be the main speaker at the party’s Ronald Reagan Newsmaker Luncheon at 11:30 a.m. next Tuesday, Aug. 14 at Café Américain on Jefferson Hwy.
