Kristopher Almanza, Drowning Victim

Kristopher Almanza, 14 and a student at Central Middle School, passed away on Jan. 7, 2012, at 1:45 p.m. due to a drowning accident near Bon Dickey Drive.

Kristopher was laid to rest at Eagle Lake Cemetery, next to his maternal grandmother in Eagle Lake, Texas.

Kris is survived by his mother Kandy, stepfather Michael Owens, and stepbrother Cody Owens.

A memorial fund to help with medical and funeral expenses has been set up at Chase Bank.
