Kayla Porche, Ian Reggio to Wed At St. Gerard Majella Catholic

BATON ROUGE — Kayla Leigh Porche of Central and Ian Michael-Christopher Reggio of Ponchatoula will marry Friday, Feb. 17, 2012, in a 7 p.m. ceremony at St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church in Baton Rouge.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Chris and Belinda Porche of Central.  She is the granddaughter of Emmitt and Liera Porche and Wesley and Audrey Brignac, all of Baton Rouge.

Kayla is a graduate of Redemptorist High School and Northwestern State University.  She is pursuing her master’s degree at Southern Methodist University and is the director of the Dyslexic lab at Redemptorist High School.

Her fiancé is the son of Scott and Stephanie Reggio of Ponchatoula.  He is the grandson of Alan and Claudia Reggio of Metairie and Stephen and Rita Vuljoin of Ponchatoula.

Ian is a graduate of Ponchatoula High School and is attending Southeastern Louisiana University pursuing his bachelor’s degree in occupational safety health and environment.  He is employed at Ferrara Fire Apparatus in Holden.
