Central Rally for Coach Sid Is Set For October 17

Voters in Central will be invited to a citywide rally for Coach Sid Edwards, who is the Republican-endorsed candidate for  Mayor-President.  The rally is set for 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 17 at a place to be determined.

Former Rep. Tony Perkins will host the event and serve as Master of Ceremonies.

It will be a chance to meet and hear from Coach Sid, who was head football coach at Central High School for 17 years and Athletic Director of the Central school system for 11 years.  He is now at Istrouma High.

Other events coming up are:

• City of St. George citywide rally for Coach Sid at 6 p.m., Monday, Sept. 30 at Woodlawn Baptist, 5805 Jones Creek Rd., St. George.

• Fundraising event for Coach Sid at Bennett Barn in Central 3-5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6. 15194 Joor Rd.

•Pastor’s Breakfast at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 10 at Family Research Council, 10925 Florida
