Bank of Zachary Will Open Branch at ZHS

The Bank of Zachary announced a partnership with Zachary High School to establish the “Bronco Branch,” an in-school bank branch that fosters financial literacy and provides convenient banking services to students, faculty, and staff.

Scheduled to open this fall, the Bronco Branch will be a collaborative effort between the Bank of Zachary and Zachary High. It will be staffed by Bank of Zachary employees as well as trained student tellers from Zachary High

“We are thrilled to partner with Zachary High School to launch the Bronco Branch, an initiative that underscores our commitment to financial literacy and community enrichment,” said Bank of Zachary President and CEO Mark Marionneaux. “By providing students with hands-on banking experience and valuable financial knowledge, we aim to empower them to make informed decisions and achieve financial success.”

“As a community school system, local partnerships are a cornerstone of our success. By collaborating with the Bank of Zachary, we can provide authentic opportunities for students to build their financial literacy skills while also having the ability to engage in job-embedded experiences. We are excited to launch and expand this resource for our students.” said Zachary Community School District Supt. Ben Necaise.

The Bank of Zachary is locally owned and operated. Hometown banking is Bank of Zachary’s mission and specialty.
