Assessor Brian Wilson Opens Office on Wax Rd. in Central

East Baton Rouge Parish Assessor Brian Wilson has opened a branch of the Assessor’s office here in Central.  The office is located at 14790 Wax Road, Suite 109 in the shopping center just west of the old Sammy’s Restaurant.

Assessor Wilson said he is excited about being able to provide more convenient service to the people of Central.  “As a resident of Central, I am especially happy to have a presence here and provide this service,” he said.

The office is now open, and the assessor invited residents to come in whenever it is convenient.  He said the most common services utilized are:

•Applying of the $75,000 homestead exemption.

•Applying for special property tax exemptions for veterans, senior citizens, and the disabled.

Hours are Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Phone 389-2022.
