Central Bloomers Donate to Tanglewood Elementary

 Each year the Central Bloomers Garden Club dedicates funds from their annual plant sale to award grants to local schools in the Central community to create school gardens for their students and teachers to enjoy. This year Tanglewood Elementary School applied and was awarded one of the grants totaling $300. Tanglewood Elementary plans to expand their current garden by incorporating more native plants that require less water and will attract more butterflies. 

PRESENTING A SCHOOL GARDEN GRANT from the Central Bloomers Garden Club to Tanglewood Elementary were Nancy Hicks and Mary Legendre.  Receiving the donation were Tanglewood Elementary principal Maegan Brown and teachers Meredith Hicks and Rhonda Ricketts.
