Hometown Artist from Central

In 2017, Kathryn Mancuso’s friend asked her to paint a party cup for her and it unlocked a desire to paint and create again that she hadn’t felt since she was a little girl. Ever since, she hasn’t been able to put the paint brushes down! She has built her small business up to where it is today and has created a variety of custom art pieces for people ranging from graduation caps to acrylic signage and everything in between. 

When Kathryn isn’t fulfilling custom orders, she is creating original, one-of-a-kind collection pieces. She is inspired by Louisiana’s beauty and all that it holds. She aims to capture the essence of the South with watercolors and acrylics. 

These original pieces are supported on canvases, watercolor paper, or authentic cypress wood found in the swamps and bayous of Louisiana. She said she would not be where she is today without the support from her family and friends, and of course, her loyal customers!

Kathryn is a 2016 graduate of Central High School where she graduated with honors. She has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and also earned her Masters of Business Administration at Southeastern Louisiana University. 

After she walked out those campus doors for the last time, she decided to take the biggest leap of her life and go full time with the small business she’s put so much effort into. She loves creating unique pieces for her customers that they can cherish forever while still making time to paint collections of original artwork. As she has taken her art to the next level, she has started to develop the style that she wants to be recognized for. 

Kathryn strives to put in as much detail as she can into her artwork to bring it to life. No matter what she is creating, the detail is undeniably there. She hopes to inspire and show people that you should never stop challenging yourself or put a limit on what you can do. Her message to everyone is strive to exceed your own expectations. You never know where it will lead you.
