Wade Evans Announces for Mayor of Central

In 2018, I ran for the Central City Council because I felt that we could do better. Since taking office, my mission has been to improve our city. I fought to have a public works app for your phones to make reporting problems easier and worked to tighten the detention rules for any new subdivision development.

I truly believe that Central is a shining star in the Baton Rouge area. We have a unique opportunity to control our destiny. While our city faces many issues, the most obvious is creating and implementing a plan to improve drainage. Second to improved drainage is repairing and maintaining our roadways.

Since taking office, I have pushed for improved drainage, city beautification, and economic development; however, I’ve become frustrated with the lack of progress. Though our surplus funds have grown by over $30 million, our infrastructure has crumbled. I have many ideas to tackle the issues I’ve mentioned and will share my plans in the coming months.

Help me be the change we need. Vote Wade Evans for Mayor. Feel free to contact me with questions or concerns.  My number is 225-413-6473.
