Secretary of State Tom Schedler at Republican Women of Central

CENTRAL — Interim Louisiana Secretary of State Tom Schedler addressed the Republican Women of Central Wednesday.  Schedler, who formerly served as a State Senator, was appointed first Assistant Secretary of State and stepped up when former Secretary of State Jay Dardenne was elected Lt. Governor.

Schedler, a Republican, said he plans to run for a full term in the post this fall.

Newly-elected Family Court Judge Charlene Charlet Day also spoke to members of the club and thanked them for their support in her recent campaign.
