Murray and Lee to Wed

William and Jeanie Murray of Denham Springs are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Madelyn Brooke to Payton Douglas Lee, son of Mr. Michael Lee and Ms. Lisa Gay and Ms. Shannon Lee of Watson.

The wedding will take place Dec. 5, 2020 at the White Magnolia in Kentwood with the reception to follow.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Vaunice and the late Mr. James C. Tate of Greenwell Springs, and Mr. James and the late Mrs. Barbara Murray of Baton Rouge.

Her perspective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Herron of Baker and the late Mr. and Mrs. Otto Lee Jr., also of Baker.

Madelyn is a 2014 graduate of Parkview Baptist Christian School.  Payton is a 2015 graduate of Live Oak High.

An engagement party was held in June at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jimbo and Abby Tate and was co-hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Jeff and Terri Tate, Mr. and Mrs. Mark, and Jackie LaFleur and Mrs. Vaunice Tate.
