Parade of Champions Through Central

The Central Community School System sponsored its Parade of Champions Friday, which rolled through the City of Central to the great delight of students, faculty, parents, and ordinary citizens who lined the roads to pay homage to the outstanding Central High athletes who won State Championships this year.
Central High won the Louisiana High School Athletic Association’s 5A baseball championship but that was just one of many championships that Central students brought home. The caravan of athletes and spirit groups travelled to Bellingrath Hills, Tanglewood, Central Intermediate, Central Middle, and Central High School.
