Devon Gales Fundraiser Set Dec. 5

Devon Gales, who was seriously injured while playing for Southern University against Georgia on Sept. 26, 2015, will be honored Saturday during the Central Christmas Parade. Mayor Jr. Shelton will ride with  Gales’ father, Donny  Gales, and stepmom Tanisha Gales, who teachs at Central High. After the parade, jambalaya and gumbo from Mike Anderson’s will be held at Winn Dixie, Hooper at Joor. Live music by Lagniappe Band. All proceeds will go towards Devon Gales recovery.
