‘Central Today’ to Focus on Privatization in City

Central Mayor Jr. Shelton and Central schools Supt. Mike Faulk will offer Central residents a guided tour of the Central Municipal Services Center in this week’s episode of Central Today. The show airs every Friday at 6:30 p.m. on Cox Cable Channel 21 and on AT&T U-Verse Channel 99.  It can also be viewed live at www.brgov.com/metro21/stream.asp.
The show will focus on Central’s unique way of providing city services to the people of Central.  The city contracts with a non-profit organization, IBTS, to provide city services at a small fraction of their normal cost.  Most cities the size of Central have several hundred employees, but Central has only three.  Learn
