CENTRAL — Tony Perkins represented Central in the Louisiana House from 1996 to 2004, when he became president of the Family Research Council in Washington.  Perkins and his wife Lawana live with their five children on Liberty Road, just north of Central.  He commutes to work in Washington weekly.
