The First Pentecostal Church, 1020 South Range Ave in Denham Springs, (across from Walmart).  will hold a special veterans service 9:45 a.m. to 12 noon. Speakers include Pastor Wm. Ray Johnson, Col. Rob Maness, Mayor Jimmy Durbin, and other guests.

Church at 16024 Greenwell Springs Rd. will host The Jones-Sibley Gospel Group. They offer classic Southern gospel music. It will be at 11 a.m. All are welcome.

Central Christmas Parade
The Central Chamber of Commerce invites you to participate in the Twenty-Eighth Annual Christmas in Central Parade and Festival, December 4-7 2014.  The Christmas in Central Festival is one of the longest-running premier events in our city.  Many people look forward to this time of the year and to the activities surrounding the festival.  What a wonderful way to begin the holiday season! We sincerely hope you will join us by taking part in this year’s “Christmas in Central”.

Early voting for the December 6 runoff election. Polling places will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Polling places will open at 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. If you in line at 8 p.m. you will be allowed to vote.
