Jason Ellis Wins City Council Seat with 58 Percent

Central City Council candidate Jason Ellis won a big victory May 3, defeating incumbent Councilman Ralph Washington by 2,066 votes to 1,477.

Ellis won 58.3 percent of the votes cast.

The election filled the fifth and final seat on the Central City Council.  Four others were elected to the Council in April.

Ellis is a civil engineer.
