Greenwell Springs Baptist Questions Candidates

Greenwell Springs Baptist Church has polled candidates for Mayor, Police Chief, and City Council on key issues facing Central and released the results.
One candidate, Dr. Kim Fralick, said she inadvertently failed to answer the question on gun control and licensing.  She said she is strongly opposed to additional gun control.
Another candidate, Mayor Pro Tem Ralph Washington, said he was in the hospital and did not receive the questionnaire.  He said he would have answered as follows:
1. Single member districts, Yes.
2. Zoning laws restricting small churches, No.
3. Baton Rouge Loop, No.
4. In God We Trust as motto, Yes.
5. Traditional marriage, Yes.
6. Abortion funding, No.
7. Special rights for gays, No.
8. Gun control, No.
9. Emphasize non-governmental solutions, Yes.
10. Common Core in Central schools, No.
11. 50 words or less on how you will sustain the quality of life in Central. Answer: Promote outstanding public schools, fight crime, build proper infrastructure,  bring in more retail stores, protect our environment, and strong stand for access to public records.
