New Program For Seniors at Food Bank

The Central  Food Bank has announced it is partnering with Associated Catholic Charities to bring the monthly commodity program closer to home!

If you are a senior age 60 or older, living in the City of Central and would like to apply for the commodity program, you may fill out an application at the City of Central Food Bank located at 12023 Sullivan Road, Central, LA. 70818. The hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday only. For more information, call 225-261-8098.

To apply for the commodity program, you will need a completed application form, a state issued ID, and proof of income. Single senior income allowance is $1,354 per month.
