2015 Grad of CHS 1st Class Airman

Air Force Airman 1st Class Austin Milton graduated in June from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. 

The airman completed an eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.  Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits towards an associate degree in applied science through the Community College of the Air Force.   

Milton was part of the 323 Training Squadron/Flight 478 and earned the distinction of Top Academic Flight, as well as Commander Excellence on the Squadron and Group Level.  

Upon graduation, he will be stationed at Luke Air Force Base in Glendale, Arizona and will work as a Crew Chief on the F-35 Lightning II Fighter Jet, while he continues his studies in Wildlife Biology.  

He is the son of Chad and Ritha Milton of Greenwell Springs. Milton is a 2015 graduate of Central High School.
