Wildcat Cheerleaders Win National Title

The Central High Wildcat cheerleading team has won their second consecutive National Championship during competition at the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex in Orlando this past weekend.
The competition was for Game Day Large Varsity Non Tumbling cheerleading.
The Wildcat cheerleaders competed with other schools from across the country.
Varsity sponsor for the team is Sharon Ball. Team captain is Camille Provost, and co-captains are Bailee Bagley and Peyton Dowden.
Amy Stevens is coach of the varsity cheerleading team. She also helps coach younger cheerleaders.
Central was also represented by the Cats (10 and under) who placed 6th in the nation, and the Wildcats (14 and older) who placed 7th in the nation in a very tough senior division.
The competition is held every year under the auspices of the National High School Cheerleading Competition.
