Greenwell Springs Youth Riders Rodeo Coming to Central May 4-5

The rodeo is coming to town!
In fact, it’s the 60th Annual Rodeo sponsored by the Greenwell Springs Youth Riders Friday, May 4 and Saturday, May 5 at the BREC Shady Park Arena, 7585 Shady Park off Greenwell Springs Road.
The action begins Friday night at 6 p.m. with live music by Clifton Brown and the Rusty Bucket band.
At 7 p.m. each night, youngters 6 and under will participate in mutton busting.
The rodeo will begin at 8 p.m. each night. It will feature bull riding, team roping, breakaway roping, saddle bronc riding, bareback riding and barrel racing. The events will be conducted by Bo Campbell Rodeo Productions. It is a Professional Cowboy Association sanctioned event as are GSYR performances.
Clifton Brown and the Rusty Bucket Band will perform again Saturday night after the rodeo.
Admission is $10 for adults, $5 students to age 17 with 5 and under free!
A full concession stand will be open. Everyone is invited!
