Central’s New City Hall

The City of Central is expected to advertise for bids for a new City Hall located on the corner of Hooper and Sullivan roads, according to Mayor Jr. Shelton. The 17,000 square foot facility will run parallel to Sullivan. The front and rear of the building will look the same. It will include City Services, where IBTS will be located, City Council chamber, and the Mayor’s office.
The Central Community School Board is considering offering to sell one and a half acres of land to the city for its appraised value, which is reportedly over $200,000.
