2015 Christmas Parade

The 29th Annual Central Christmas Parade will excite children and adults when it begins at 10 a.m. this Saturday, Dec. 5.  It will start at the corner of Hooper and Joor roads and head south on Joor, ending at Lovett Road.

More than 4,000 spectators are expected.  They will see more than 50 floats, vehicles, bands, marching units, dance teams, and beauty queens.  The parade will line up from 7 to 9 a.m.  Opening ceremonies will be held at 9:30 a.m.  The parade is sponsored by the City of Central Chamber of Commerce.

A fundraiser for Devon Gales will be held at Winn-Dixie, corner Hooper and Joor roads, from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Volunteers will sell jambalaya and gumbo from Mike Anderson’s. All proceeds with go to the Gales family.
