Christmas Under the Oaks Monday, Dec. 22

Central’s 1st Annual Christmas under the Oaks will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 22.  The communitywide event will include a spectacular computerized light and music show featuring Judy Pancoast, as see sings to the lights.

Spectators will gath-er under the oak trees in front of the Central School Complex facing Sullivan Road.  The road will be closed, and the show will originate from the Hohensee home across the street at 12625 Sullivan Road.

The Hohensee family is presenting its 5th year of doing animat-ed Christmas Lights. James Hohensee said, “We hope you enjoy our show while spending time with your friends and family. Each year we add new lights and upgrade the show. This year we have a real special treat — the 1st Annual Christmas under the Oaks Concert. Please bring chairs and sit under the oaks to enjoy the show.”

The Hohensee family spends countless hours preparing for the Christmas show each year, and every year they find a deserving group or family that could benefit from donations that are received. This year the Hohensee family selected Central Intermediate School’s Special Education Department to be the recipient of all donations.

One need is for Glider Bikes or Balance Bikes, which are designed for use with Special Needs Children and Adults.

Judy Pancoast is an award-winning children’s song-writer and performer.  She is performing in 12 states this December.
